Summery weather in short supply

Bright with blustery showers in Scotland and Northern Ireland today - and feel chilly in the brisk west winds.Cumbria and Northumberland will see some sunshine but for the rest of England and Wales more cloud with a few showers drifting into Cornwall, Devon and Pembrokeshire.

Temperatures will remain on the low side for late July.

Tomorrow, the weather really lets us down before perking up again on Saturday.
