Tears as 7/7 survivor has unexpected visit from policeman who saved her life
A survivor of the 7/7 London terror attack broke down in tears when she was reunited with the policeman who saved her life, nearly ten years after the bombings.
Gill Hicks had both her legs amputated after being injured in the attacks.
She was taking part in a walk in tribute to the 52 people killed when she was surprised by the man who had kept her alive until more help arrived.
Pc Andrew Maxwell rescued her from the Piccadilly line train that Jermaine Lindsay, 19, blew up between King's Cross and Russell Square stations.
The pair hugged and shed some tears in front of Kings Cross station before retreating from the cameras to share a few private words.
