The greatest bike race in the world, aka Le Tour de France, returns this weekend for its 102nd edition. You can watch the whole race live on ITV4 and ITV Player, with a highlights show every evening for you to catch up on the best action, also available on ITV4 and ITV Player.

Stage 1 on Saturday 4th July sees the riders tackle a short, technical individual time trial in Utrecht in the Netherlands, before the Tour heads into France. Coverage starts at 1pm on ITV4, presented by Gary Imlach with expert analysis from Chris Boardman and reports by Ned Boulting and Matt Rendell.

The Tour is tipped to be a classic, with the four strongest Grand Tour riders in the world – Vincenzo Nibali, Alberto Contador, Nairo Quintana and Britain's Chris Froome – all trying to win the famous yellow jersey. Also watch out for British sprint king Mark Cavendish, who will be desperate to add to his tally of 25 Tour stage wins.
