Weather: Sunshine and soaring temperatures

It will be hotting up for all of us in the next couple of days. As we drift intoJuly and the heat and humidity levels rise, the heatwave means we could well see our highest temperatures since 2006.

With temperatures soaring, it'll become increasingly humid and thunderyleaving us with muggy, uncomfortable nights.

There'll be more sunshine for many of us tomorrow - a little morecloud wafting across the north as thunderstorms get going acrossScotland.

It'll be warmer for all of us with temperatures on the up - most of uswill have our hottest day of the year so far as it becomes hot andhumid in the south.

Temperatures are set to peak on Wednesday with highs of 30-33C andpossibly 35C or so in the south east with thunderstorms possible.
