NBC drops Donald Trump over Mexico comments
Billionaire and US presidential hopeful Donald Trump has been dumped by broadcaster NBC after his "derogatory" comments about Mexican immigrants.
Trump accused Mexico of sending rapists and other criminals to live in the US when he announced his bid for the Republican nomination two weeks ago.
Today, NBC said it was ending its business relationship with the 69-year-old real estate mogul and TV star.
The broadcaster will no longer air the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants that were a joint venture with Trump.
'The Apprentice' will still be shown by NBC as Trump ended his involvement with the reality show during his presidential bid.
Following the announcement, Trump said he stood by his campaign trail comments and called NBC "weak".
