British tourist describes 'mayhem' of Tunisian terror attack
A British tourist caught up in the Tunisian terror attack has spoken of the "mayhem" they faced.
Donna Crouch told ITV News she had just gone for a walk when she heard what she thought were fireworks.
She said: "I turned round and saw this guy about 30 to 40 yards away with a gun shooting at all the sunbeds.
"I didn't think it was real and everybody was shouting run, so everybody just ran into the hotels. It was just mayhem."
Mrs Crouch, who only arrived at the resort two days ago, praised hotel staff for how they dealt with the situation but said everybody was still in shock.
"It's not what you expect when you come on holiday. It's a quiet beach, just having a stroll and a mad gunman," she said.
