Primary school bans handstands and cartwheels in playground
A primary school has banned handstands and cartwheels in the playground over concerns pupils could harm themselves.
Old Priory Junior Academy in Plympton, Devon, confirmed it had put a temporary ban on "all gymnastic activities" during break times until further notice.
Interim headteacher Emma Hermon-Wright said the decision had been taken after a number of pupils sustained minor injuries to their wrists and backs.
