New Fifty Shades of Grey book 'stolen' week before release

Police are said to be investigating reports a manuscript of EL James' latest novel told from Christian Grey's perspective has been stolen.

The new book is understood to have been due for release next week on June 18.

But it is feared pirate copies may be circulated if thieves have got their hands on it.

Publishers Penguin Randomhouse said: "We have no comment to make due to an ongoing police investigation."

No details have been released of where the book may have been stolen from.

Grey is the fourth book EL James novel starring lead character Christian Grey.

The first novel, Fifty Shades of Grey, has since been turned into a film starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.
