Labour denies claims Ed Miliband pulled out of photoshoot outside Brighton Pavilion over mosque fears
Labour have denied claims Ed Miliband pulled out of a planned photoshoot in front of Brighton Pavilion over fears voters may think it was a mosque.
In an analysis of Labour's doomed election campaign, The Times (£) reported that one of Mr Miliband's aides cancelled the event in case voters mistook the building for a mosque.
The paper said the moment could have come straight out of BBC political sitcom The Thick of It, saying it reflected Labour's "almost comical neurosis" on immigration.
But a Labour spokesperson rejected the story, telling ITV News: "This is nonsense".
