EU debt proposal crosses 'every single one' of Greece's red lines, says Yanis Varoufakis
The EU debt proposal presented to Greece "crosses every single one" of the country's "red lines", Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis has told ITV News.
He added that there would be no way that they could agree upon the five-page document in its present form.
He said that he hoped that it represented "an early negotiation position", and that all parties could "reach a coming together of views".
When pressed on the possibility of Greece leaving the EU, he said he wouldn't get into what would be "a dangerous discussion".
As to whether the nation was printing Drachma as a failsafe, he said: "No; that's an easy one to answer."
