David Cameron sets out on his EU 'Mission Impossible'
The Prime Minister says he has "27 nuts to crack" if he is to succeed in his goal to renegotiate the terms of the UK's membership of the European Union.
Mr Cameron has admitted that he was "not met with a wall of love" when he met his counterparts in Latvia at the weekend, but he nevertheless intends to meet various leaders of other member states this week in an attempt to change their minds.
He will meet Dutch counterpart Mark Rutte for a working lunch in The Hague today, before heading to Paris for talks with President Francois Hollande at the Elysee Palace.
Tomorrow, a meeting will be held with Polish Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz in Warsaw, before talks in Berlin with Chancellor Angela Merkel, whose backing will prove crucial if Mr Cameron is to secure serious reforms.
A visit to Copenhagen to meet Danish premier Helle Thorning-Schmidt was cancelled after she called a general election.
