PM pushes ahead with housing association right-to-buy plans

David Cameron has confirmed he will move forward with his controversial extension of Margaret Thatcher's right-to- buy scheme for housing association tenants.

The controversial measure, which will allow more than a million people to buy their homes for a discount, will be included in the Queen's Speech tomorrow.

But critics say it will deplete social housing and push up prices for everyone.
