Coronation Street star Simon Gregson to become father for third time

Coronation Street's Simon Gregson has told the world that he's due to become a father for the third time.

The actor and his wife Emma Gleave posted a picture of themselves on Twitter, showing him with the word "beer" written on his stomach and her with the word "baby".

Gregson, 40, who plays Steve McDonald in the soap, wrote "After a stressful few months... myself and Emma Gleave are excited to announce..."

The long-term couple have been married since 2010, and have two sons together - seven-year-old Alfie and five-year-old Harry.

Shobna Gulati, sent their congratulations, as well as soap mother Beverley Callard who wrote: "Oh so thrilled."

Gregson is not the only Corrie star to have announced baby news recently - Samia Ghadie revealed last month that she is expecting a baby with her boyfriend Sylvain Longchambon.
