Ten wonderful facts about ostriches to knock the stuffing out of Nigel Pearson's latest moment of madness
Nigel Pearson reminded us what a strange man he can be following Leicester's defeat to Chelsea on Wednesday by launching into a bizarre Ostrich-themed rant at a local journalist.
The Foxes boss is under pressure to avoid relegation this season and the strain is continuing to make him look more like Jack Torrance than a Premier League manager.
He had already grabbed an opposition player by the throat on the touchline and called a reporter a "p****" this season before last night's remarkable episode.
In the post-match press conference, he accused a local journalist of being a stupid "ostrich" when questioned about his assertion that Leicester have been unfairly portrayed by the media this season.
Pearson came across as burly and insulting, but there is, in fact, no shame whatsoever about being compared to an ostrich.
Here, we bring you ten wonderful facts about the large flightless birds to knock the stuffing out of Pearson's latest mask-slipping moment.
