Kyle Walker 'disgusted' after being wrongly linked to explicit Twitter video

Tottenham Hotspur footballer Kyle Walker said he is "disgusted" and "horrified" after being wrongly linked to an explicit video.

The 24-year-old's name was trending on Twitter throughout Saturday after a graphic video - featuring a woman, a dog and a bed - was widely shared online.

Amid false suggestions he was linked in some way, the England international released a statement to "set the record straight", also revealing that his legal team is ready to take action.

"I wasn't going to comment on the rumours going around about myself and my family but as people are still talking about them, I feel I need to set the record straight," the England right-back wrote on Facebook.

"I am aware of a video being shared on social media and am disgusted by the suggestion that it's anything to do with us.

"With so many young people on social media I am horrified that content of that nature has been shared so many times.

"My legal team are monitoring the activity surrounding this."

Walker missed his side's 2-2 draw with Southampton yesterday after suffering an abdominal injury.
