Sandra Bullock's 911 call heard in court at stalker hearing
A panicked 911 call made by Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock to police after a man broke into her home in Los Angeles last year has been played in a US court at a preliminary hearing.
Joshua James Corbett is accused of stalking the 50-year-old actress.
39-year-old Corbett, who has been charged with 19 offences including stalking and burglary, has pleaded not guilty.
Ms Bullock was home in June last year when a man reportedly scaled her fence and broke in through a locked door on the first floor.
The actress locked herself in a closet in her bedroom and called the police while the man reportedly walked around the property.
During the call Ms Bullock is heard breathing heavily as she describes the intruder to the operator.
When police responded to the call Ms Bullock was heard crying and saying 'thank you'.
According to the police report, the intruder was unarmed but had love letters and magazine cutouts of Ms Bullock on him, however, when police later searched his home they found several weapons including a machine gun.
Ms Bullock has apparently not been seen at a red-carpet event since the incident took place in June 2014.
