Sunshine returns in time for Easter Sunday

After a grey, cloudy start to the long weekend for many, slowly improving into tomorrow. Spring finally returns just in time for Easter Sunday. Perking up for most of us as sunny spells and patches of blue sky develop - there'll be more cloud at the top and tail of the country but it'll remain dry. Temperatures will be a little up on the last couple of days so not quite as chilly as it has been.

Into Easter Monday the cloud returns annoyingly, bringing spots of drizzle in places - but otherwise dry and fine and a little milder for all of us (even with the cloud).

Feeling warmer in the sunshine with highs of 16-17C possible in southern counties.
