Taylor Swift slams exam board for 'bad grammar' claim

Pop darling Taylor Swift has called out an exam board for wrongly accusing her of using "bad grammar" in her songs - as they had misquoted her lyrics.

One Swift fan in the US posted an image to Tumblr of a preparation test drawn up by the Princeton Review board as a study aid for the SAT exams.

The question reads:

It then goes on to quote Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Justin Timberlake, as well as a number of other chart-toppers.

But the lyric they attributed to Taylor Swift was incorrect, citing: "Somebody tells you they love you, you got to believe 'em", instead of the real lyric from hit Fifteen: "Somebody tells you they love you, you're gonna believe them."

The actual lyric, aside from the use of 'gonna', is not wrong.

The pop princess was quick with a good-humoured response, re-posting the image to her own Tumblr page and commenting:
