Astronaut twins to embark on pioneering NASA space study
A set of identical twins are hoping to provide NASA with a better understanding of the effects of long-haul space travel on the human body.
Scott Kelly is aiming to spend an entire year living aboard the International Space Station, a feat which would set a NASA record, whilst his twin brother will stay on the ground.
This one-of-a-kind experiment will help scientists prepare for a manned mission to Mars, which would be an 18-month roundtrip.
The mission is expected to launch in Kazakhstan on 27 March.
