Gogglebox's Jay and Eve split but must keep filming together

Gogglebox's "Silent Jay" Makin revealed he has split from his co-star Eve, but producers say the pair will still have to film together until the series ends in May.

Makin, who sits on the sofa with Eve Woerdenweber and her parents Viv and Ralf on the hit Channel 4 show, told The Sun he was "gutted" she broke up with him.

"It came completely out of the blue," he said.

Makin said Gogglebox's producers told him they would try and make everything "as painless as possible", but that he still expects filming to be "super awkward".

"They've even said they want us for the next series. I don't know how that's going to work out," he added.
