£260,000-a-week Falcao plays for Man Utd U-21s

Radamel Falcao, who earns a reported £260,000-a-week, turned out for a Man Utd U-21s side against Tottenham on Tuesday.

The striker has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford this season with Louis Van Gaal regularly leaving him on the bench.

The match ended 1-1 but Falcao didn't get on the scoresheet - instead it was defender Rafael with the goal - a delicate chip over the goalkeeper.The Colombian is on loan from Monaco this season but United have the option to make the deal permanent for £43.5million this summer - a transfer that is looking increasingly unlikely.

Falcao has started just two of their last five games and was an unused substitute despite United trailing to Arsenal in their FA Cup tie.
