Beckham reveals son thinks he is an 'embarrassing dad'

Most young boys would probably be quite happy to have David Beckham as their dad.

But not the former England footballer's first-born, Brooklyn, who is so embarrassed by his famous father he asks to be dropped off round the corner from school so as not to be spotted by his classmates.

David told ITV's Good Morning Britain about the first time Brooklyn, who turns 16 next month, asked him to do it.

He said: "He's at the age now where he does not want me to drop him off outside school. He does not want too much affection but, yes, I still kiss him.

"He said 'Can you drop me round the corner?' ... As he was walking in to school, I wound down the window and shouted 'I love you' to him. He was not happy."

Asked how Brooklyn would be celebrating his milestone birthday, David said he would probably have a dinner with the family - but a separate one with his friends.
