Cold weather here to stay

The cold weather is set to continue over the next few days with further wintry showers and icy patches, particularly at night.

Tonight will see further snow showers across Scotland and Northern Ireland, slipping down to Wales and southern English counties.

There are weather warnings for snow and ice are in place.
