An icy start for many with snow showers possible

We will see further snow showers across Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales tonight, but also some southern counties.

The Met Office has a snow warning in force for the majority of the UK.

The South West and southern Wales will see some very strong wind, with gusts between 50 and 60mph.

Friday will bring an icy start for many while the best of the weather will be across central and southern Scotland and the South East much like today.

Elsewhere, sleety showers are likely, but they won't feel as wintry as today.
