Three GP practices in England placed in special measures
Three GP surgeries in England have been put in to special measures after being rated as inadequate for the first time, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) has announced.
The three practices in Reading, Liverpool and Sale have been given six months to turn things around.
A spokesman for the CQC, England's independent health and social care regulator, said: "It is the first time and it is significant."
