Doctor vows to return to Sierra Leone to help Ebola fight
A doctor who spent six weeks helping Ebola victims in Sierra Leone has said it was a life-changing experience and has vowed to return.
Dr Dan Cooper, who volunteered with the International medical corps, spent his Christmas tending to patients with the deadly virus.
While in Sierra Leone, Dr Cooper documented his time fighting the virus in a series of blogs for ITV News.
The medic, who has now returned home to the UK, today spoke to ITV News' Dan Rivers about how the experience had given him a different perspective on life and the difficulty of losing patients to Ebola.
