Tottenham Hotspur have banned selfie sticks from White Hart Lane following a complaint from one of their fans.

Spurs confirmed that the email tweeted out by the fan in question, below, was sent by someone who works for the club.

The next first team fixture at White Hart Lane is the FA Cup third round replay against Burnley next Wednesday, followed by a Premier League match against Sunderland next Saturday.
