'Babe' voice actress Christine Cavanaugh dies aged 51
Christine Cavanaugh, the voice of "Babe" the pig and Rugrats' Chuckie Finster, has died aged 51.
Although the details of Cavanaugh's death have not been released, an obituary in the Los Angeles Times reveals she died on December 22.
Her acting career began in 1988, but it was not until her role as Goslyn Duck in Darkwing Duck that Cavanaugh had her big break.
Roles as Chuckie Finster in Rugrats, Dexter in Dexter's Laboratory and voicing the lead character in the 1995 smash hit film Babe followed.
In 2001 the actress retired from her career as a voice artist and moved to be closer to her family.
Cavanaugh had no biological children but was the godmother of Isabel Torres, the daughter of her childhood friend.
