George Clooney joins stars of Downton Abbey to raise money for Text Santa
George Clooney has joined the stars of Downton Abbey to raise money for the ITV charity campaign Text Santa.
The Hollywood star was not the only one to join the charity drive One Direction, Olly Murs, Mel B, Warwick Davies, Diversity and Simon Cowell all appeared in the TV spectacular to raise money for charity.
Text Santa is ITV's annual charity Christmas appeal which aims to raise awareness and donations for 6 UK charities, who all provide essential practical support or services for people in need.
The charities being supported this year are:
George Clooney wasn't the only special guest on the Downton special, with Joanna Lumley, Mr Selfridge star Jeremy Piven and Downton creator and writer Julian Fellows all making an appearance.
