We will see continued strong winds through the day, especially towards the far northwest.

Wintry showers will move across Scotland and Northern Ireland, with a few light showers in Devon and Cornwall.

Elsewhere there will be bright spells around, with patchy cloud lingering along southern coasts.

Temperatures will reach highs of 10C (50 F) in the south.
