Is this the world's most luxurious doll's house? Miniature mansion goes on sale for £25,000
There is no stamp duty to pay and this des res is fully furnished with a luxury finish - but for £25,000, the size may put some buyers off.
Walton Park is an extravagant doll's house, currently listed for sale with premium estate agency Savills.
The house would command a £15 million price tag - plus £1.7 million in stamp duty - if it were a full-size property in Chelsea.
Commissioned by children's interior specialist Dragons of Walton Street, the 15-room mini mansion includes features such as a marble entrance hall, parquet flooring, Nina Campbell wallpapers, hand-crafted furniture and remote control lighting.
If it sells, 10% of the proceeds will go to charity.
Described as a "labour of love," the house took three months to make and weighs 160kg. In its 6,045 sq/in of floor space there is a dining room, library, master bedroom, three further bedrooms, a bathroom, utility room and a garage.
There are 525 interior design choices in the doll's house, which also boasts a Beatrix Potter nursery with wooden floors, a luxury Moses basket, Dragons cot bed, toy box, chest of drawers and changer all hand-painted in Beatrix Potter artwork.
