The England women's football team and some high profile sporting stars are very excited about the prospect of a sell-out at Wembley on Sunday.

ITV News sports correspondent Ian Payne has the full story:

Steph Houghton, who will captain England against Germany, thinks the event showcases the interest in the sport.

She told ITV: "It's great for women's football, it shows what huge strides we've made."

Lizzie Yarnold and Victoria Pendleton, speaking at Sky Sports/Sunday Times Sportswomen of the year awards, believe it will be a big boost for the women's sport in general.

Yarnold said: "I think having more football matches on the telly and going to more football matches will show young girls that they can do it too."
