David Beckham's eldest son Brooklyn has reportedly signed a short-term deal with Arsenal after impressing in a trial, ITV News understands.

It's reported that Brooklyn, 15, has been training with the Gunners' youth team at the Hale End Academy in Walthamstow, but Arsenal would not officially confirm that he has signed a deal.

Young players cannot sign a professional football contract until they are 17, so Brooklyn's next step would be to sign a scholarship at 16.

It's thought that Brooklyn was also being monitored by father David's former club Manchester United as well as Chelsea.

David Beckham never played for Arsenal but did train with them last January before his move to Paris St Germain.
