Dad makes Iron Man outfit for sick son to help him feel brave

Little Collier Hart is just four months old but so far he has spent his entire life in hospital after being born premature.

For his first Halloween, his dad Eric decided he needed a costume that would make him feel brave so he decided to make him an Iron Man suit.

In this touching clip Mr Hart, a prop maker from North Carolina, filmed himself creating the pint-sized outfit which Collier wore for just one minute.

He told Right This Minute he was inspired to create the costume because Iron Man Tony Stark - like his son - needs to be attached to wires in order to survive.

"Collier's hooked up to the machines all the time and Iron Man, he built the suit because he needed a machine to keep himself alive," he said.

"I just thought if he had a little Iron Man suit he could come home with us."
