Secret recipe for Golden Syrup Ready Brek sent to boy who will eat nothing else

The parents of a boy who refuses to eat anything but Golden Syrup flavoured Ready Brek were distraught when the flavour was discontinued.

Desperate Charles and Christina Pickens hunted high and low to ensure their 7-year-old son Cha, who has autism, would still have something to eat.

His father told the Daily Record:

However as supplies dwindled the family became concerned.

Now Weetabix, the company behind the Ready Brek, have sent Cha a case full of the special flavour and included the recipe so his parents can keep him fed.

Cha has reportedly not eaten anything but this particular flavour of Ready Brek for five years.
