Wenger and Terry to announce tube stops as part of poppy campaign

The voices of Arsene Wenger and John Terry will be heard making announcements on the London Underground tomorrow as part of London Poppy Day.

Transport for London (TfL) has teamed up with a host of recognisable celebrity voices, football clubs and performers to encourage Londoners to support the Royal British Legion's London Poppy Day on 30th October.

Arsenal boss Wenger will welcome customers to Arsenal, Holloway Road and Finsbury Park whilst Chelsea captain John Terry's voice will greet commuters at Fulham Broadway, Earl's Court and West Brompton.

Other players such as QPR's Joey Barton and Tottenham's Andros Townsend can be heard at stations near their stadiums.

A host of celebrity voices, including Stephen Fry, Joanna Lumley and Brian Blessed, will be heard at stops all over the city as part of the campaign.
