Lynda Bellingham given standing ovation in emotional last Loose Women episode
Actress Lynda Bellingham was given a standing ovation during an emotional final appearance on ITV show Loose Women earlier this month,
The 66-year-old, who died yesterday after a battle with cancer - returned to the long-running programme for a special episode, which was due to air later this week.
After receiving a rapturous response, Bellingham told the crowd: "Enough! We've got so much to chat about."
Bellingham - who shot to fame as the "Oxo mum" in a series of TV adverts - has been praised for her strength since revealing her decision to end chemotherapy treatment this summer.
Friend and former co-presenter Coleen Nolan - whose sister Bernie died last year from breast cancer - fought back tears when asking: "How would you like people to remember you?"
Bellingham replied: "Just an honest person."
With Nolan visibly moved, Bellingham then reached across, urging her: "Please don't cry... it will be fine."
Lynda's husband Michael was in the audience during the show - and was also clearly touched by her bravery.
Following the appearance, former co-stars including Denise Welch and Carol McGiffin arrived backstage to catch up with their friend.
Another panellist, Nadia Sawalha, was given her first job by Bellingham - playing her daughter-in-law in the famous Oxo adverts - and told ITV's Lorraine she had urged her friends from Loose Women: "Please when I'm gone, have a big party for me and have a dance."
