Hollywood director J.J. Abrams has been declared the victor in a good-natured Twitter war with his friend and fellow director Zack Snyder.

Snyder kicked off the battle in July with a picture that mashed up his latest film, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is in production, with Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII - being filmed in Britain at Pinewood Studios.

Abrams responded with this image of a BoyegaMan:

Snyder then retaliated with "Batman & R2bin" - aka R2D2.

There were more images, but Abrams has been declared the winner - so far anyway - after releasing "HUNKA JUNK", a 30-second video of the Millennium Falcon that ends with a mini Batmobile attached to the underside of the legendary spaceship.

Star Wars obsessives believe that the video was shot on the full-size model of the Falcon that has been constructed at Pinewood for the latest trilogy.
