Apple Watch and iPhone 6 reviews: What the experts think
An Apple launch always causes a stir within the technology world and the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Apple Watch presentation yesterday was no different.
Technology writers and critics have already got their hands on the devices, albeit for a short period of time, and reviews have generally been very favourable.
The iPhone 6 has been called the product "Apple sorely needed to release" while the technology giant's watch has been hailed for its stylishness.
Here is a round-up of what the experts have said about the new iPhone 6 and Apple Watch:
iPhone 6 reviews
Charles Arthur, writing for The Guardian, said the iPhone 6's larger screen will appeal to "existing iPhone customers...and users of Android phones whose key consideration is screen size".
Gareth Beavis, writing for techradar.com, said the iPhone 6 is a device "Apple sorely needed to release" and that it "will keep the Apple fans happy for a while".
The Daily Telegraph's Head of Technology Matt Warman said the iPhone 6 has "reasserted Apple's dominance ahead of the chasing pack".
Apple Watch reviews
The Independent's David Phelan said the Apple Watch "has aimed for beauty first, tech second".
Anick Jesdanun, the Associated Press' Technology Writer, said Apple Watch "customers will find more useful things to do with it than the smartwatches already out".
