On Monday 3rd December 2012 Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge announced they were expecting their first child. As they have today announced they are expecting their second baby, we take a look back at Kate's first pregnancy.
The first glimpse of the Duchess after her pregnancy was announced was when she was discharged from the King Edward Vll Hospital in Central London.
She had been admitted after suffering from severe morning sickness.
It was a while before the expectant mother was well enough to be able to resume her royal duties. On one visit she was presented with a 'Baby on board' badge by Transport for London.
On July 22nd 2013 the Duchess gave birth to a boy, Prince George. The following day the waiting crowds of well-wishers and onlookers and the world's press saw their first glimpse of the new prince.
