TOWIE's James Argent 'sorry' after sparking police manhunt

The Only Way is Essex Star James Argent said he was "sorry" after going missing and sparking a police manhunt.

Police began looking for the reality TV star after his family reported him missing when he failed to show up for a flight to Majorca. He had work lined up on the Spanish Island.

His agent Neil Dobias said: "When he failed to turn up, he was reported missing by his family who are understandably concerned."

News of Argent's disappearance quickly spread among his 1.4 million Twitter followers and among the TOWIE cast, who were quick to tweet their concerns.

However, Argent later contacted his mother and other cast members of the reality TV show, including Joey Essex.

He did not give a reason for his disappearance or explain where he had been.
