George Bush gets soaked in Ice Bucket Challenge

Former US president George Bush takes part in the Ice Bucket Challenge and nominates Bill Clinton to do it next.

Before he gets a dunking he says: "I don't think its very presidential for me to be splashed with ice water so I'm just going to write a cheque."

His wife and former First Lady Laura Bush then pours a bucket of freezing water over his head saying: "That cheque is for me. I don't want to ruin my hairstyle."

Afterwards he challenges fellow former commander-in-chief Bill Clinton to take part.

"Yesterday it was Bill's birthday and my gift to Bill is a bucket of cold water," he joked.
