ITV News exclusive: Footage shows 'Afghan Sikhs' being released from shipping container at Tilbury Docks

ITV News has obtained exclusive footage of people being released from a shipping container at Tilbury Docks.

Thirty-five people - believed to be Afghan Sikhs - were discovered inside thecontainer yesterday morning, and one man later died.

In distressing footage, a number of the group can be seen exiting the container and sitting on the floor amid screaming.

Police officers and border staff can be seen trying to help the group.

Some 30 people have now been released from hospital, while four remain in Southend Hospital but are expected to be released later today.
