Celebrities across the board have endured the viral ice bucket challenge, in which they pour a bucket full of cold water over their heads to help raise awareness for a disease.
From actress Selena Gomez and Justin Timberlake to Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg, the renowned tycoons and personalities are the latest in a line to use the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to highlight Amyotrophic lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrigs Disease.
Earlier today, Gates nominated businessman Elon Musk, TV and radio personality Ryan Seacrest, and Chris Anderson, the curator of TED conference, to do the same. All of the above have successfully completed the challenge:
The Ice Bucket Challenge has been adopted by Macmillan Cancer support in the UK, with celebrities including tennis star Andy Murray and golfer Ian Poulter taking part. Will David Beckham, James Franco and the New York Jets take on the challenge?
