Travel boss takes first selfie from atop Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil
A travel company boss from London has become the first person to take a selfie at the very top of Brazil's Christ the Redeemer statue.
Lee Thompson is one of only a few people who have been lucky enough to climb to the top of the Brazilian landmark
It took the 31-year-old almost half an hour to reach the summit of 130-foot statue, climbing narrow steps where a misplaced move would result in serious injury
But it was all worth it for the Londoner when he poked his head out of the top to be met by the beautiful sight of Rio de Janeiro below him.
