Fourteen-year-old paperboy Bailey McConnell impressed the Britain's Got Talent judges on tonight's show.

But the singer-songwriter from Milton Keynes only had three of the judges to win over as BGT mastermind Simon Cowell had flown back to the US for the birth of his son.

Fairly less well was Shakespeare Remixed, with their rather novel take on Shakespeare's classic story of tragedy and betrayal, Hamlet.

But it wasn't all bad news for the trio as they managed to get the thumbs up from an unlikely ally - Cowell.

"I don't know what it is about you girls, but I find you fascinating," he told the act. "I mean I hate Shakespeare, but in a weird way I liked that".

The Innova Irish Dance Company managed to surprise and delight with their unusual take on the art form.

Rather than opting for some Gaelic tunes on the stereo, the dance troupe showed off their talents to LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem.
