A Liverpool butcher has created a chocolate scotch egg for Easter and now its becoming a local and internet sensation.

On the Graham Eyes Facebook fan page a post reads: "A 'Traditional' Scotch Egg with a Whole Cadburys Creme Egg Filling. £1.50 Each. Will you be giving it a try?"

Speaking to ITV News, butcher Graham said his step-daughter came up with the idea after the success of last year in which the butchers sold dozens of sausages stuffed with Cadbury's mini eggs.

He offers four different recipes, including a lime and chilli flavour, to get the customers in.

Only 200 have been made but he said: "if there's a great demand who knows if it can go national."
