Toilet trained cat Willie becomes internet sensation

The internet's latest sensation features a rare thing - a messy cat who cleans up after himself.

The YouTube video has been viewed over 1.5 million times making the viral video one of the web's most instant hits after it was uploaded just five days ago.

It features Willie, a grey tabby, clawing frantically at a toilet roll holder until the paper has all but run out - only to painstakingly roll the whole lot back onto the spool.

Owner Michael Thompson, 29, makes no secret about what he thinks of his treasured pet, naming the video Willie Is Better Than Your Cat.

Mr Thompson, who describes himself as "Willie's Human", can be heard saying: "That's very helpful, thank you."
