Fans outraged over £90 cost of the new England shirt

England's football team and Nike have unveiled the home and away kits for this summer's World Cup in Brazil, but have asked fans to pay up to £90 for the privilege of wearing one like their heroes.

Nike released the £90 “match official” and a stadium version priced at £60.

Former England players have taken to Twitter to show their anger at the prices:

The difference between the two versions is that the match official shirt has ventilation panels, is ultra soft and a more flattering shape.

The latest kits have all been labelled “2014”, suggesting the newest versions could be out of date within 12 months.
