The top 25 worst passwords of 2013
"Password" has lost its title as the worst internet password to the two-time runner up "123456", according to a leading software provider.
SplashData's annual list revealed the six-digit number was the most popular - and therefore worst - password used by people online last year.
This year's list is said to have been influenced by the large number of passwords from Adobe users that were posted online by security consulting firm Stricture Consulting Group after Adobe's well-publicised security breach.
